So yesterday we had the HUGE honour of playing at British Summertime Festival on the same bill as Pharrell, Corinne Bailey Rae and the legend that is Stevie Wonder. Audience figures reached 65000 people at their peak and the event was heaving all day. An extremely proud day for UDM, our members were true pros.

The beautiful Waterloo Carnival with Mandinga Arts! They never to fail to produce an amazing parade with a WHOLE PRIMARY SCHOOL. Yes, that’s right, the whole of Johanna Primary School with music provided by UDM winds it’s way through the streets of Waterloo before arriving at Waterloo Millenium Green for the big finale.
Yesterday we had the HUGE privilege of playing at the British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park to an audience in the tens of thousands. On the line-up this time, Kendrick Lamar and Florence and the Machine and next week? STEVIE WONDER. The legend himself. As if this gig could get any more exciting.

The 18th of June, 1st gig of the season and our 12th year at Southwest Fest! Always a joyous way to start the season, some members doing their very 1st performance, others more experienced and able to guide their peers and show them how it’s done!
1st gig of the season at the Tower of London today in partnership with Mossbourne Academy, nice to see lots of new faces!
