‘Rio Tropicalia’ 

From the innocence of 1950’s Rio de Janeiro, to the military dictatorship of the late 60’s where musicians and artists were censored and expelled for expressing resistance in song and art. Our interpretation of the musical climate of the time and the juxtaposion between the external image of beautiful tropical Rio and the harsh political realities of the time. Military dictatorship, censorship, vs high creativity, intellectually progressive thinking and free speech.
